Anyone from the age of 8 years old with passing medical check. Why is the medical questionnaire so important? Any medical concerns can be a trigger to injuries while diving. But not all medical conditions will stop you from diving. Your physician will be able to advise you if your medical history or present condition will refrain you from attempting scuba diving.
Learning to scuba dive will start from a pool. Any pool that provides a shallow side to stand and a deep side too deep in which to stand is the perfect place for beginners. Find out for yourself if that is something you’ll enjoy by trying out in your own pool, or if you do not have a pool, in your local pool nearby.
We provide all gear and come to you.
You already know how to scuba but wish to learn more and advance your education. Great!
For children up to 14 years old: Join the junior program, from Bubblemaker and PADI Seal Team, Junior Open Water all the way to Master Scuba Diver and a variety of different specialty courses are available for under 14 years old.
From 15 years old: Any recreational scuba diving certifications are available and most specialty courses. All professional courses and some specialty courses related to the industry as a profession are from 18 years of age.
We have the most amazing marine eco-system, actually the largest in the world, right here on our doorstep.
Without having to travel too far, islands nearby are very easily accessible by ferry or own boat and you can enjoy scuba for yourself.
Other places that are becoming popular are lakes. No boat ride, just a short drive to the Atherton tableland and you get to experience freshwater diving with it’s various fish life, eels, turtles and an underwater forest.
